  1. Commercial Drones and Their Growing Threat to Maritime Security” – Presented by Dr. Nirmal De Silva, accompanied by Air Commodore Mahasen Herath (Retd).
  2. “Artificial Intelligence and Maritime Security” – Presented by Dr. Nirmal De Silva, accompanied by Dr. Aparajitha Ariyadasa.

These papers address emerging challenges in the Indian Ocean Region and propose actionable insights for safeguarding maritime trade, national defense, and regional cooperation.

The research was formally handed over to Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayatissa, Minister of Health and Mass Media, who emphasized the importance of strengthening regional knowledge platforms.
